Doyoung and Jungwoo

officially started military service, Monday (8/12).In early October, SM Entertainment announced that Doyoung would serve as an active soldier in the Army and that Jungwoo would join the Army Band on December 8.
On Monday (8/12), Doyoung and Jungwoo took photos at their respective military service locations with the NCT members who were present to send them off.

In the photo, Doyoung and Jungwoo also appear with the latest buzz cut haircuts, and pose in a half-heart shape which, if combined, will form one big heart.
Now, both of them will undergo five weeks of basic military training.After completing basic military training, Kim Dong-young and Kim Jung-woo will serve at their respective posts.

Doyoung and Jungwoo followed Taeyong who enlisted on April 10 2024 as an active soldier in the Navy.The NCT leader is expected to complete military service in December 2025.
After Taeyong, there is also Jaehyun who began military service on November 4 2024, joined the military band, and received an acceptance notice from the Military Manpower Administration.Jaehyun is expected to finish May 3, 2026.
In Korea, all able-bodied men are required to serve in the military for at least 18 months.
