Responding to the flood disaster, the Bima Regency BPBD immediately carried out a field assessment, collecting impact data, and coordinating with various related agencies.
Abdul said that the urgent needs that are being sought include logistical assistance, building materials such as tin roofs or spandex, emergency infrastructure repairs, and heavy equipment for cleaning up flood materials.
Apart from Bima, flooding also occurred in Kilo District, Dompu Regency on Monday as a result of moderate to heavy rain that fell on the area for an hour. This condition caused the water to overflow and inundate residential areas in two villages, namely Kramat Village and Lasi Village.
“As a result of this incident, around 90 families (KK) were affected by the flood. Apart from submerging residents’ houses, the flood also caused a section of road across the village to be cut off,” said Muhari.
“Even though there were no casualties, the material impact was quite significant because around 90 housing units suffered light to moderate damage,” he continued.
Responding to the disaster, the Dompu Regency BPBD immediately dispatched a Rapid Response Team (TRC) to the location to conduct an assessment and collect data on the impact of the disaster.
Apart from that, the regional government has established an emergency response status for flood disasters in the Dompu area through the Dompu Regent’s Decree Number 100.3.3.2/348/BPBD/2025 which is valid from 10 to 19 November 2025.
“Until this report was published, water conditions had receded and clean-up and environmental restoration activities had begun to be carried out in stages,” said Abdul.
