officially divorced and now a widower after reading the divorce vow to Irma Kartika Anggraeni at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Tuesday (9/12).
The divorce vow was made about a month after Bedu’s divorce suit for divorce from Irma was granted by the South Jakarta PA on November 3 and marked the end of their 15 year marriage.

The reading of the divorce vow made Bedu tremble.He admitted that it was difficult to let go of a marriage that had lasted for years and was worried after the divorce.
“Marriage is a responsibility, a form of worship. I am the leader of the household, protecting my wife and children from the heat of hell fire,” said Bedu as reported

“It’s not that the burden is gone, but is my ex-wife still on the straight track? I hope and pray that she stays on her path,” he said.

This concern arose because he admitted that he saw several colleagues who seemed to be walking off track after divorcing.He also hopes that his ex-wife can stay on the right path and be an example for her children.
In the divorce suit for divorce, Bedu did not dispute legal custody.He agreed with Irma to raise children together to demonstrate the goodness of their children.
“I see several friends who, after getting divorced, have gone off track. That’s what I’m worried about, because she is the mother of my children,” he said.”I pray my ex-wife remains a good example.”
Bedu filed for divorce from Irma on September 22 2025 or after 15 years of marriage.Harabdu Tohar alias Bedu married Irma Kartika Anggreani on February 7 2010.
On September 30 2025, Bedu said that the decision to divorce did not come suddenly, namely after various disputes and incompatibilities in vision and mission that grew between them.
It was said that the separation was taken because the two of them experienced constant disputes, while emphasizing that the problem was not due to economic factors.
Bedu has stated that he will not relinquish responsibility to his children after the divorce.He admits that he is still able to provide for his children up to almost IDR 50 million per month and cares for them with Irma.
He revealed that the income given per month will be to meet household needs including children’s school fees, installments, electricity bills, and monthly shopping.
