Pakistan’s Defense Minister, Khawaja Asif, said his country was at war and emphasized that this attack should be considered a wake-up call.

“In a situation like this, it is futile to hope for greater success in negotiations with the rulers of Kabul (Afghanistan),” Asif said in X.
“Kabul’s rulers can stop terrorism in Pakistan, but bringing this war to Islamabad is a message from Kabul, which Pakistan can respond to with full force,” he added, reported by Al Jazeera.
The explosion that occurred in Islamabad today left 12 people dead.Videos taken from the scene show flames and smoke billowing into the air from a car parked behind the security barrier at the Islamabad court building.
Pakistan’s Interior Minister, Mohsin Naqvi, said a suicide bomber carried out the attack.
“The attacker tried to enter the court building, but failed, and instead targeted a police vehicle,” Naqvi said.
He has not said which group was responsible for the deadly attack.But he confirmed that authorities were investigating all aspects of the attack.
The conflict between Afghanistan and Pakistan that has been going on since last October was triggered by border problems between the two countries.
Tensions between the two countries increased on Saturday (11/10), when both sides exchanged fire in several border areas.
Afghanistan emphasized that their attacks last October were in retaliation for repeated violations by Pakistan on Afghan territory.
Meanwhile, Pakistan accuses Afghanistan of harboring a Taliban militia allied with the Pakistani Taliban, known by the acronym TTP, which is accused of being involved in a number of deadly attacks.
