Hans Patuwo
officially nominated as the new main director and chief executive officer (CEO) of PT
GoTo
Gojek Tokopedia Tbk, replaces
Patrick Sugito Walujo
who resigned.
This information was conveyed in the information disclosure submitted by the company to the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) on Monday (24/11).
“Mr Sugito Walujo has resigned from his position as the company’s main director and the leadership baton will be continued by Mr Hans Patuwo who will be nominated as the company’s main director and chief executive officer,” said GoTo Director and Corporate Secretary R. A. Koesoemohadiani.

Hans’ nomination will be brought to the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) scheduled for 17 December 2025.
Koesoemohadiani explained that this leadership transition was a succession step that had been thoroughly prepared by the board of directors to maintain stability and continuity of strategy when GoTo entered the next phase of growth towards sustainable profitability.
“This nomination and transition is part of a strict succession process prepared by the board of directors, which reflects the company’s commitment to ensuring stability, strategic continuity and strengthening operational execution as GoTo enters the next phase of growth towards sustainable profitability,” he said.
GoTo details the track record of Hans Patuwo who has been involved for almost eight years in the Gojek, GoPay and GoTo ecosystem.He joined as chief operating officer (COO) in 2018, focusing on driver-partner operations and transportation services.
Hans also led the development of GoTo Financial (GTF) as president until it developed into a platform

best known in Indonesia.
In his current role as COO and president of on-demand services (ODS), he leads operations across the GoTo ecosystem and is considered successful in driving efficiency and profitability through a data-driven operational approach.
Before joining Gojek, Hans had experience in the United States (US), China and Singapore, including holding positions

at the consulting firm McKinsey.
Apart from Sugito, GoTo also accepted the resignation of Ade Mulyana from the position of director, as well as Pablo Malay and Winato Kartono from the position of commissioner due to personal and family reasons.
To strengthen the governance structure, the company will nominate Andre Soelistyo and Santoso Kartono as commissioners.Both are said to have strategic experience and a deep understanding of technology and investment which is expected to strengthen the board’s supervisory function.
All changes will require approval through the EGMS, in accordance with the provisions of POJK 33/2014, POJK 15/2020, as well as the company’s articles of association.The meeting agenda includes approval of the resignations and appointment of new members of the board of directors and board of commissioners.
GoTo emphasized that this series of changes did not have a detrimental impact on the company’s operational activities, legal conditions, finances or business continuity.
