revealed about the contract extension
Bojan Hodak
at the club that holds the top football competition title in Indonesia.
Hodak has been coaching Persib since mid-2023. The result is that two League 1 titles, from 2023/2024 and 2024/2025, belong to Maung Bandung.
Hodak’s contract will end on May 31 2026. In less than seven months before the contract ends, there has been no contract extension.This caused rumors to emerge.

Responding to various issues regarding Hodak’s contract, Persib emphasized that it has a plan while looking at the performance of the team which is currently still in the top four zone of the Super League and at the top of the AFC Champions League 2 group phase standings.
“Regarding the contract extension, Bojan still has an ongoing contract. Of course management is always monitoring and preparing plans, but at this time we want to respect the team’s journey and the dynamics of the ongoing competition. This will be conveyed in due course,” explained Head of Communication of PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat (PBB), Adhi Pratama.
Adhi also explained that the man who was born in Zagreb, Croatia, was still committed to handling Persib this season.
“Bojan Hodak has also emphasized his commitment to remain with Persib and focus on the matches that are at hand. The team’s condition is currently solid and harmonious, and we want to ensure that this positive atmosphere is maintained,” he explained.
Recently, Hodak was also mentioned as a strong candidate to coach the Indonesian National Team.This became rumor which Persib denied.
“Regarding the news that says Bojan Hodak is on the market for the Indonesian National Team coach, we want to clarify that this information is not true. Until now there has been no communication between Bojan and PSSI or the Exco. So, the various posts circulating can be confirmed as just rumors,” said Adhi.
