Polda Metro Jaya held a special case related to the accusation case
fake diploma

The attorney confirmed that he was present at the special case hearing for Jokowi’s diploma case today.

“We will attend a special case in accordance with the invitation letter from Polda Metro Jaya,” said Jokowi’s attorney, Rivai Kusumanegara, in a statement in Jakarta, Sunday (14/12).
Rivai also hopes that this special case title can answer all the suspects’ questions and then the case will immediately be transferred to trial through the public prosecutor.
He added that the title of this case cannot discuss the defense of the suspects because according to Article 312 of the Criminal Code it can only be tested by a judge.
“So it is clearly not in the realm of investigation or prosecution,” he said.
Polda Metro Jaya stated that a special case regarding Jokowi’s fake diploma report case will be held at 10.00 WIB.
“It is scheduled for Monday, December 15 2025, at around 10.00, a special case will be held at the request of suspect Roy Suryo and his friends,” said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Police Commissioner Budi Hermanto at the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters, Jakarta, Saturday (13/12).
Budi said that the special case title would be followed by internal and external parties.”On Monday, a special event will be held, attended by internal and external parties,” said Budi.
These include the National Police’s General Supervision Inspectorate (Itwasum), Police Professional and Security (Propam), National Police’s Legal Division and externals from the National Police Commission (Kompolnas), Ombudsman and others.
The first cluster consists of five suspects, namely Eggi Sudjana, Kurnia Tri Rohyani, Damai Hari Lubis, Rustam Effendi and Muhammad Rizal Fadillah.
Then the second cluster consisted of three suspects, namely Roy Suryo, Rismon Hasiholan Sianipar and Tifauziah Tyassuma alias Dr Tifa.
Most recently, Polda Metro Jaya is known to have also banned Roy Suryo and seven other suspects from leaving the country.Apart from being banned, the suspects are also required to report once a week every Thursday.
Previously, Roy Suryo, Rismon and Tifauzia visited Polda Metro Jaya to file a special case regarding Jokowi’s fake diploma report case.
“We are filing a special case to make this case clear and known to the public and others,” said Roy Suryo when met at the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters, Thursday (20/11).
