Police clarify the location of the stepfather’s death

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Budi Hermanto said the suspect committed suicide in the counseling room of South Jakarta Metro Police, in the early hours of Sunday (23/11).
“The person concerned is suspected of committing suicide in the counseling room. Not in the detention cell,” he told reporters at Polda Metro Jaya, Monday (24/11).

Previously, the police arrested the boy’s stepfather, Alvaro Kiano Nugroho (6), who was missing for 9 months until he was finally found dead.
South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Commissioner Nicolas Ary Lilipaly said the victim’s stepfather had also been named a suspect and immediately detained.
Even so, Nicolas has not revealed further details about the cause of Alvaro’s death.Including the chronology of the discovery of the victim’s body with only a skeleton remaining.
“Yes (Alvaro’s stepfather is the suspect). Yes (detained),” he said when confirmed via short message, Sunday (23/11).
Alvaro Kiano Nugroho was declared missing since March 6.The incident began when Alvaro received permission to perform Maghrib prayers at the mosque near his house in the Ulujami area, Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta.
However, after the Maghrib prayer it turned out that Alvaro had not come home.So, the family looked for his whereabouts and his friend admitted that he was not with him when he prayed.
