“We have arrested a total of five marijuana dealers,” said the Head of the South Tangerang Police Narcotics Investigation Unit, AKP Pardiman, Tuesday (25/11).

He explained that at the Ciracas bus terminal, East Jakarta, on Tuesday (7/10) at around 20.00 WIB, three dealers with the initials HJ, SS, AF were arrested.
Then in the Pondok Aren area, South Tangerang City, Pisi arrested a suspect with the initials TW.In Gunung Sindur, Bogor Regency, the initials are RA.
“Of the nearly eight kilograms of dry marijuana ready for distribution, five of them are in block-shaped packages that have been taped,” explained Pardiman.
Apart from marijuana, he continued, the South Tangerang Police Narcotics Unit also confiscated drug evidence in the form of 240 ecstasy pills.The suspect MY was arrested in Kemang, Bogor Regency, distributing ecstasy at nightclubs.

All suspects were charged under Article 114 paragraph 2 subsidiary Article 112 paragraph 2 of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics with the threat of a minimum prison sentence of five years and a maximum of 20 years in prison.
