Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Budi Hermanto said that the crime scene investigation was carried out by the National Police Headquarters forensic team, Densus 88 Anti-terror, the Jibom Gegana team and others.
“The crime scene investigation as of tonight is still not finished,” said Budi at Polda Metro Jaya, Friday (7/11).

Budi said that it is planned that the results of the crime scene investigation will be announced on Saturday (8/11) by Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Asep Edi Suheri.
Budi said a number of pieces of evidence had also been confiscated for the investigation process.However, Budi did not reveal what evidence had been secured.
“We have not been able to fully explain to our colleagues about the evidence at the crime scene, because at the time after the incident, it was

“We know, we understand, if a crime scene has an explosion, someone cannot just enter. There must be sterilization, it is feared that there are objects or items that could trigger or become an explosion later,” he continued.
Budi confirmed that the situation in Jakarta was safe after the explosion incident at SMA 72.He also asked the public not to worry.
“So the current situation is safe and can be controlled by the Metro Jaya Police Chief. We appeal to all residents and the public, no need to worry, no need to worry. Everything can be controlled by the Metro Jaya Police Chief,” said Budi.
Previously, an explosion incident occurred at SMA 72 on Jalan Prihatin Number 87, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta on Friday afternoon.
National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo stated that the alleged perpetrator of the explosion at SMA 72 was already known.Currently, the police are still investigating the alleged perpetrator, including investigating the identity and environment of the alleged perpetrator.
“Meanwhile, we have now found the alleged perpetrator, members are currently conducting an in-depth investigation regarding the perpetrator’s identity, then also the perpetrator’s environment, including the house and other things which we are currently investigating,” said Sigit when giving a statement at the Presidential Palace, Friday.
Sigit also confirmed that the alleged perpetrator is currently undergoing surgery due to the injuries he suffered in the explosion incident.
The identity of the alleged perpetrator is not yet known.However, Sigit confirmed that the alleged perpetrator had student status.
“One of the people who is currently carrying out operations is the alleged perpetrator, and we are currently investigating the motive for sharing various types of information, of course we will collect it so that it becomes a unified piece of information when it is informed,” he said.
