Fermin Aldeguer managed to beat his Gresini Racing teammate, Alex Marquez, in the second free practice session or FP2, Saturday (8/11).
Taking place at the Portimao Circuit, Aldeguer managed to carve out the fastest time of 1 minute 41.65 seconds.The racer from Spain had a narrow lead of 0.003 seconds over Marquez who had to settle for second place.
Joan Mir and Marco Bezzecchi followed in third and fourth respectively.Meanwhile, Francesco Bagnaia completes the top five positions.

At the start of practice, the racers used wet tires until Jack Miller was the first to change to slick tires in the middle of practice.
The other racers soon followed with improved times until the finish flag flew under the hot sun.
Nevertheless, Aldeguer managed to seal the fastest time which was only a few seconds ahead of Alex Marquez.
