Alex Marquez
performed again extraordinary by being the fastest in the 2025 Portugal MotoGP practice session at the Algarve Portimao Circuit, Friday (7/11).
Gresini Racing racer Alex Marquez was in first place with a time of 1 minute 38.272 seconds after 20 minutes of practice.Followed by Pedro Acosta and Johann Zarco.
Francesco Bagnaia improved by being in fourth place after being 0.4 seconds behind Alex.

Practice lasted almost half an hour, but Zarco experienced technical problems on the motorbike.In half of the 2025 Portugal MotoGP practice session, Alex Marquez remained in the lead, followed by Pedro Acosta and Johann Zarco in the top three.
Meanwhile, other racers who entered the top 10 quota to automatically qualify for the second qualification (Q2) were: Pol Espargaro, Pecco Bagnaia, Fermin Aldeguer, Brad Binder, Marco Bezzecchi, Fabio Quartararo, and Joan Mir.
Fernandez tried to change his position in the top 10 by pushing up to seventh position.Unfortunately for Jack Miller who had an accident at Turn 5.
Quartararo broke into the top four.Likewise with Fabio Di Giannantonio who tried to qualify directly for Q2 after finishing ninth.
With less than 2 minutes remaining in practice, Joan Mir was in third place which made Morbidelli slip to 11th position.
The Portuguese MotoGP practice session ends.There were changes to the top three positions after Pecco Bagnaia moved up to second place.
By being the fastest in the practice session, Alex Marquez dominated the first day of MotoGP Portugal 2025. Previously, Alex was the fastest in the FP1 session.
