) reveals total online or online gambling transactions (

) from January to October 2025 reaching IDR 155 trillion.
Head of PPATK Ivan Yustiavandana said that although it was still high, the amount was much lower, up to 56 percent of online gambling transactions that occurred in 2024 of IDR 359 trillion.

“Compared to last year, the full 12 (months) amounted to Rp. 359 trillion. Now it is almost the 12th month, we have succeeded in reducing it to Rp. 155 trillion,” he said at a press conference, Jakarta, Tuesday (4/11).
Apart from the transaction value, Ivan said that the deposit value made by online gambling players was also successfully reduced.He said that last year the amount reached IDR 51 trillion, but now it has shrunk to IDR 24 trillion in October 2025.
“Last year’s deposits were IDR 51 trillion, people who made deposits, now we can reduce it to IDR 24 trillion,” he added.
Ivan said that the flow of money from this illegal practice had been successfully suppressed thanks to collaboration between stakeholders (
stakeholders
) related.
He emphasized that eradicating online gambling is also one of the main focuses of the government of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.The reason is, online gambling has many negative impacts on society.
“This is indeed our shared commitment to carry out the President’s directions regarding Astacita and how we maintain the social impact of online gambling on our public,” said Ivan.
