Prabowo said this during a state speech at the MPR Annual Session, Friday (8/15).After becoming president, he understood how great the challenges of Indonesia were among the fraudulent rates at all levels of government.
“After 299 days I led the executive government I increasingly know how much our challenges are, how much misuse is in our government environment. This is not good, but I must report to the representatives of the Indonesian people,” Prabowo said.
The President of the Republic of Indonesia also highlighted the concept of supervision in modern countries is needed.If a country without supervision has the potential to become a corrupt country.
Throughout the history of humanity, he continued, absolute power was also accompanied by corrupt in an absolute manner.
“We understand the history of mankind. If there is unconscious power, then power will become corrupt. Absolute power will be absolutely corrupt,” Prabowo said.
He also understands that corruption is still a major problem of the Indonesian people.According to Prabowo, corrupt behavior even occurs at the level of institutions and even state -owned enterprises (BUMN).
Furthermore, Prabowo stressed that he did not want to allow and cover up corrupt behavior.Indonesian people, he said, must know this fact.
