inaugurated the Commission for the Acceleration of Police Reform at the Jakarta Presidential Palace, Friday (7/11).
This decision is contained in Presidential Decree Number 122 P of 2025 concerning the Appointment of Membership to the Commission for the Acceleration of Police Reform.
The National Police Reform Commission is filled by nine people, chaired by former Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court (MK) Jimly Asshiddiqie.

The formation of the National Police Reform Commission was inseparable from the large riots at the end of last August which were triggered by the running over of a motorbike taxi driver, Affan Kurniawan, by a Mobile Brigade vehicle.
After that, the pressure to reform the internal police body within the government also strengthened.Apart from the Reform Committee which was inaugurated today, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo also formed a National Police Reform Transformation Team.
The team consists of 52 police officers and is chaired by Komjen (Pol) Chryshnanda Dwilaksana.
