while giving a speech at the peak event of the 61st Golkar Party anniversary at Istora Senayan, Friday (5/12).
Initially, Prabowo said that Indonesia’s political paradigm must have its own unique identity.Political practices in Indonesia do not have to imitate other countries.
“Today’s new paradigm, our politics must now be politics that are uniquely Indonesian. We cannot participate in the politics of other countries. It is not certain that democracy in the West is suitable for us,” said Prabowo.

Prabowo then touched on the issue of democracy and human rights taught by other countries to Indonesia, which he said was ironic, because it was voiced only according to the interests of the foreign country.
“He taught us democracy, even though he was the one who colonized us for hundreds of years. He taught us human rights, he was the one who violated human rights. So yes, apparently democracy, human rights, suit their tastes. If it suits their tastes, then they make a fuss,” said Prabowo.
Therefore, Prabowo said that the Indonesian people must believe in their own strength and identity again.He emphasized that the Indonesian nation cannot be regulated by other countries.
“So again, brothers and sisters, we must believe in our own strength, we must believe in our own identity, we must be proud of the history of our nation’s struggle. We must always believe in ourselves and we must find our own solutions,” he said.
