gave a gift to the Australian Prime Minister’s pet dog

whose name is Toto.
During his state visit to Sydney yesterday, Prabowo handed Albanese a medium-sized, cream-colored box.When the box was opened, on the inside of the lid there was a photo of Toto wearing a red scarf necklace that said “Toto loves Bobby”.

In the box, there was also a t-shirt with a white base and red edges.On the front of the shirt it says “TOTO” in red.
Meanwhile, on the back there are pictures of dogs and cats.Additionally, there is a set of striped straps also with “TOTO” written on them.
This moment was uploaded to the account @sekretariat.kabinet, which was quoted on Thursday (13/11).
In the photos and videos shared, Albanese looks happy to receive a gift from Prabowo for Toto.
Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said giving gifts to state leaders’ pets was a form of Prabowo-style diplomacy.
He said diplomacy does not always have to take the form of talks, negotiations or meetings in international forums.
“Diplomacy can also be bridged by two pets belonging to two state leaders,” wrote Teddy on the account @sekretariat.kabinet.
“Bobby and Toto have never met, but they have become a symbol of the closeness of two countries’ leaders. A symbol of friendship between two countries,” he added.
During Albanese’s visit to Indonesia in May 2025, Albanese also gave Prabowo’s pet cat, Bobby, a gift.
At the dinner party, Albanese gave Bobby a gift in the form of a red scarf with the words ‘Australia loves Indonesia’ and wore it directly.
