Prabowo Holds Ratas in Hambalang, Discusses Hajj Village – Sumatra Disaster

held a Limited Meeting (Ratas) at his private residence in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java, on Tuesday (23/12).
Cabinet Secretary Lt. Col. Teddy Indra Wijaya said that in the Ratas the President discussed a number of national strategic agendas.One of them is related to the construction of the Hajj Village in Saudi Arabia.
“For the first time in history, the Indonesian Hajj Pilgrims will have their own place during the Hajj,” he said in a written statement, Wednesday (24/12).

During the meeting, Prabowo also discussed the distribution of supplies and availability of LPG and fuel in three provinces affected by floods and landslides in Sumatra.
Teddy said the government ensures that the national energy supply during the Christmas and New Year periods throughout Indonesia is ready and able to meet people’s needs.
Not to forget, he said, the President also discussed developments in post-disaster recovery in Aceh, North Sumatra and West Sumatra.Prabowo asked that recovery be fast and coordinated.
“The President instructed BUMN and the Ministry of Public Works to complete the construction of temporary residential houses as quickly as possible along with the construction of permanent housing for affected residents,” he concluded.
The meeting was attended by Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono and Head of the Investment Management Agency (BPI) Danantara.
