This was conveyed by Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian after a meeting at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, Monday (24/11).
“Yes, I reported to him. So, among other things, he ordered me to immediately carry out audit improvements,” said Tito.

Tito said that Prabowo also advised that what happened to Irene not happen again to other pregnant women and babies.
“The same message from the president, don’t let the same thing happen again,” he said.
Tito also said that he had communicated with Papua Governor Mathius Fakhiri after learning about receiving information about Irene’s case.
He asked Matthew to immediately approach the victim’s house to immediately provide assistance.
Tito said that the audit in question covered hospitals and officials at the Health Service.
Apart from that, Tito said he had also communicated with the Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin.He said Budi and parties from the Ministry of Home Affairs would go directly to Jayapura to take part in carrying out the audit.
“Conducting an internal audit of where the problem is. Collecting the hospitals, including officials in the Health Service and others, both provincial, district and also private,” he said.
