IDR 12 trillion for training
high school graduate
so that you can work abroad.
Coordinating Minister for Community Development Muhaimin Iskandar said the budget would be used for scholarship programs for training courses and improving language quality.
“God willing, IDR 12 trillion will be prepared for training and improving the language quality of prospective workers working in foreign markets,” said Cak Imin at a limited meeting at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, Tuesday (4/11).

Cak Imin said that this course scholarship would focus on training high school graduates according to the needs of the international labor market.Training includes welding, elderly care and hospitality.
He said the course scholarship program was part of the government’s efforts to expand employment opportunities.The government wants secondary school graduates to be competitive at the global level.
“The government will increase scholarships for courses for high school and vocational school graduates who want to work abroad,” he said.
Training for high school graduates will start at the end of this year.The government has not yet determined the number of participant quotas.
Cak Imin explained that this program is different from the program to provide 500 thousand skilled workers to work abroad.
The program is coordinated by the Ministry for the Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (P2MI).The KP2MI program is supported by a budget of IDR 8 trillion.
