in Aceh, North Sumatra and West Sumatra it continues to be carried out on a massive scale with the full support of the central government. This was conveyed by Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, East Jakarta, Wednesday (13/3).

He said that Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto had given instructions for the central and regional governments to provide full support for the disaster management process, including from the budget side.
“The President immediately gave us instructions to fully back up the process of handling the disaster that befell our brothers and sisters,” said Prasetyo.
The government also ensures that coordination across ministries and institutions runs well, including fulfilling the distribution of basic needs.
According to Prasetyo, the national food supply is in sufficient condition, while Pertamina continues to ensure fuel distribution to affected areas.Under certain conditions, the government even drops fuel by air to reach areas isolated due to disasters.
He also expressed his appreciation to friendly countries who showed sympathy and offered assistance, even though Indonesia is still able to handle the impact of the disaster independently.
Regarding the budget, Prasetyo explained that the government still has ready-to-use funds in the APBN for emergency disaster needs.
“Last time, more or less two days ago, it was still around IDR 500 billion,” he said.
He added that the President had given directions to increase the budget if necessary. This instruction applies to relevant ministries and institutions that are at the forefront of disaster management, including the TNI and Polri.
“The President has given direct instructions, if additions need to be made, then additions will be made. This also applies to several related ministries and institutions, for example the TNI and police,” said Prasetyo.
“We all see that the TNI and Polri are one of the front guards in the disaster management process. Of course, this requires financial resources which we will reserve,” he said.
