Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Muhaimin Iskandar alias Cak Imin said the government would formulate the details of this policy, including the area of land that would be given.
“Essentially, the President ordered production equipment for agricultural workers who do not own land. So, we are still finalizing the mechanism,” said Cak Imin at a press conference at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, Wednesday (5/11).

Cak Imin said the government would hold an inter-ministerial meeting to discuss this matter.He said he would establish communication with the ATR/BPN Ministry regarding agrarian reform.
He admitted that this policy was inspired by similar programs in China and Vietnam.However, the government will make more integrated policies.
“The inspiration (from China and Vietnam), but the system being built is more or less integrated,” said Cak Imin.
Regarding the scope and time for implementing this policy, Cak Imin cannot yet reveal it.He said that a number of preparations were still needed before it was announced in detail.
“Just wait, not yet, we’ll discuss it first,” he said.
