He conveyed that when responding to the question of who other heads of state to be invited to attend the Republic of Indonesia Anniversary ceremony on August 17.
“We are relatively simple first,” Prabowo said at ITB, Bandung, Thursday (7/8).
Prabowo said that at this time he focused on work to bring progress to the wider community.
He admitted that up to now there is still a lot of work that must be completed.
“We still have a lot of jobs for the people,” he said.
The 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia was the first August celebration of Prabowo as President of the Republic of Indonesia since being inaugurated on October 20, 2024.
Commemoration of Independence will be held in Jakarta.This decision is different from the previous celebration held at IKN.
In his celebration, Prabowo wants the general public to be involved.The general public had the opportunity to attend the commemoration ceremony for the proclamation seconds at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta on August 17, 2025.
The Deputy Minister of Neg Juri Ardiantoro said the government allocated around 80 percent of the 8 thousand invited guests for the general public.
He said Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto instructed the reducing guests invited by state officials at the first anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia as president.
