As for this event, the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) will implement traffic engineering (traffic) in the Monas area, situationally.
The roads that intersect with the venue for the 212 Grand Reunion will be closed, namely Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat, South and North.Then Jalan Veteran I, II, III, Jalan Majapahit on the East side, Jalan Budi Kemuliaan, Jalan M.H.Thamrin segment from Simpang Statue Kuda to Simpang Kebon Sirih.
Previously, Traffic Director of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Komarudin appealed to the public to avoid the roads around Monas during the 212 Reunion activities. Remembering that the activity was held during work hours, it was predicted that there would be traffic jams.
“Therefore, we appeal to the people of Jakarta or those carrying out activities in Jakarta to avoid this road section. Meanwhile, for diversions, we will again carry out situational measures. If it is predicted that there will still be routes or large mass mobilization, we will carry out diversions earlier,” said Komarudin, Monday (1/12).
The 212 reunion will be held again at Silang Monas, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (2/12) evening, with the theme ‘Moral Revolution to Save the Republic of Indonesia from Criminals and Free Palestine from Colonizers’.
Chairman of the 212 Reunion Steering Committee (SC), Ahmad Shobri Lubis, said the main aim of the event was to strengthen the unity of the Ummah, which became the basis for the 212 Islamic Defense Action in 2016.
This 212 year reunion series will begin with congregational Maghrib prayers, then continue with dhikr, joint prayer and tausiyah from the ulama.The committee also openly invited President Prabowo Subianto along with a number of ministers and related officials.Apart from that, Habib Rizieq Shihab is also scheduled to attend.
