“That is, some of the trucks used are old trucks so the leachate falls in, causing odors, and so on,” said Pramono at DKI City Hall, Central Jakarta, Thursday (6/11).
According to Pramono, a capacity of 1,000 tons has been proven to be safer and better organized.
“Because when there were 1,000, the people there were also invited to see the chimneys and so on, the chimneys were clean, well arranged, and the waste was also organized because the waste used for RDF should last 2 to 5 days,” he said.
Regarding the replacement of the truck fleet, Pramono explained that currently there are 93 trucks from 2024.
He also stated that he had requested that the procurement of new trucks for 2025 be accelerated.Later the old trucks can be moved to another location.
“So, the fleet currently has 93 trucks by 2024. I ask for 2024, I ask for the 2025 procurement which is coming soon, to be accelerated so that only the new trucks will serve, the old ones will all be withdrawn for other places,” said Pramono.
