He also said the government needed to research laws and procedures to make it easier for women to report sexual assaults.
Sheinbaum then said that even the president could be a victim of sexual harassment, let alone Mexican women who often use public transportation.
“What will happen to all the young women in our country,” he said.
Furthermore, Sheinbaum said that he had also experienced abuse when he was 12 years old.At that time, he used public transportation to go to school.
The new incident against Sheinbaum occurred on Tuesday.At that time, he and his team decided to walk from the Palace to the Ministry of Education to avoid traffic jams.
The incident was also recorded on video and went viral on social media.In the video, Sheinbaum appears to be surrounded by local residents.Suddenly, a man came from behind and immediately embraced him and touched the Mexican president’s breasts.
“We decided to walk. Many people greeted us along the way and there were no problems until finally a drunk man came and I experienced this harassment,” he said.
