“I deal with this problem from the principle point of view, but we will not do a boycott,” said Klaveness who is also a member of the UEFA Executive Council, in Podcast Pop and Politics.
In the view of Klaveness, the boycott only benefits Israel and has the opportunity to take them to the upcoming 2026 World Cup.
“The boycott will only cause Israel to qualify for the World Cup, not us. In general, we are now striving for Israel to be sanctioned,” said Klaveness.
