Pro Futsal League
(PFL) 2025/2026 as the highest caste futsal competition in Indonesia was officially launched on Wednesday (1/10).
The Indonesian Futsal Competition (KFI) was also appointed as the competition operator.One BUMN, Madani National Capital (PNM) is the main sponsor.
“I am very grateful to PNM as a BUMN who has a commitment, good faith, and a strong desire to jointly build the future of Indonesian futsal. Hopefully, Indonesian futsal can develop rapidly and increasingly competitive at the international level,” said Michael Victor Sianipar, as Chairperson of the Indonesian Futsal Federation in an official statement, Wednesday (1/10).

Michael said, the FFI also introduced KFI as a league operator.He stated, regulators and competition organizers need to be different entities.
“This season KFI has been formed as a competition operator, which is reflecting on the organization of the Indonesian League and the IBL basketball competition. Where in the two competitions, the operators and regulators are two different entities,” he said.
PFL 2025/2026 followed by 12 clubs, who will undergo 28 matches in the regular phase in two rounds.There are two matches in each series, and three matches in the playoff phase.
The first round will begin on October 4 in Solo while the second round will begin on March 28, 2026 in Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan.
Another change this season is that there is no degradation system.Related to this, FFI said he wanted to guarantee the sustainability of the club to keep competing at a high level.
Previously the teams at the bottom of the board often had difficulty finding funding because of their position in the standings.With the guarantee of not degraded, it is hoped that the teams can still maintain the sustainability even though they do not compete for the title, “said Michael.
