The Terra Drone building in Central Jakarta experienced
fire
on Tuesday (9/12) and caused 22 people to die according to evening data at 18.30 WIB.
Terra Drone Indonesia is part of the Terra Drone Group based in Japan.This company was founded by Toru Tokushige in February 2016.

Fire
A fire broke out at the Terra Drone Building located in Cempaka Baru, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta (Jakpus) on Tuesday afternoon.The fire is thought to have started from a battery on the 1st floor of the building.
“At around 12.30 there was a battery on the 1st floor, that was the one that caught fire. Then it was extinguished by employees, then it turned out that the burning battery spread because on the 1st floor this is one of the warehouses,” said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro to reporters, Tuesday (9/12).
At the time of the incident, employees were on their lunch break.Some employees were said to be outside, while others went up to floors two to six to rest.
“Then when it caught fire, the fire got bigger, then the smoke rose to the sixth floor,” said Susatyo.
