The FIFA Disciplinary Committee gave this sanction after holding a hearing on Wednesday (5/11).From the trial it was concluded that PSSI was proven to have made a mistake.
The error in question was a matter of order, security, as well as throwing objects onto the match field in the Fourth Phase of the 2026 World Cup Qualification.

On October 11, 2025, after the match against Iraq, there was a commotion.A number of Indonesian players protested strongly to the referee regarding the course of the match.
Because of this protest, two Indonesian national team players received red cards.The two players in question are Thom Haye and Shayne Pattynama.National Team Manager Sumardji also received a red card.
The situation became increasingly tense because Indonesian fans took part in action.Unscrupulous Indonesian fans were identified as throwing objects onto the field.
In the decision of the PSSI Disciplinary Committee, Haye and Shayne also received sanctions from FIFA.Both were banned from appearing four times and fined IDR 103 million.
With this, Haye and Shayne will be absent from the next four Indonesian National Team matches.This agenda is likely to take place in March and June 2026.
