PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) officially handed over two student buses to the Yogyakarta LPP Polytechnic and the Indonesian Palm Oil Technology Institute (ITSI) as a form of strengthening the synergy between education and the industrial world.
The handover of the two buses was carried out symbolically at the Yogyakarta LPP Polytechnic yard, Friday (12/12).This solemn and friendly handover marked PTPN III’s concrete steps in supporting vocational education and improving the quality of human resources in the plantation sector.
PTPN III Director of Human Resources and General Affairs, Endang Suraningsih, said that through the Social and Environmental Responsibility Program (TJSL), PTPN III has a strong commitment to contributing to society.

In 2025, one of the focuses of the PTPN III TJSL Program is providing bus fleet assistance to two universities that play a role in producing plantation human resources, namely LPP Yogyakarta Polytechnic and ITSI.
“This program is an implementation of link and match and co-creation between the world of business and the world of education. We hope that this collaboration can produce superior human resources and products in the national plantation sector, in line with the PTPN Group slogan: grow, win, build the country,” said Endang.
After a series of speeches, the event continued with a procession of symbolic handing over of bus keys by the Director of Human Resources and General Affairs of PTPN III to the Director of LPP Yogyakarta Polytechnic and the Chancellor of ITSI.
The procession was witnessed by the ranks of the Yogyakarta Plantation Education Foundation, the leadership of PT LPP Agro Nusantara, as well as the academic community of the Yogyakarta LPP Polytechnic and the Indonesian Palm Oil Technology Institute.
Director of LPP Yogyakarta Polytechnic, M. Mustangin, in his speech expressed his appreciation for PTPN III’s support which was considered to really help the mobility of student activities, starting from field practicums, industrial visits, to self-development activities.
Meanwhile, the Chair of LLDIKTI Region V Yogyakarta, Setyabudi Indartono, emphasized that universities cannot run alone without collaboration with various parties, especially the industrial world.
