PU Minister Dody Hanggodo targets that the handling of the 13 broken bridges can be completed this month.
He said the damage to the bridge disrupted the community’s logistical movements, especially on the route connecting the Takengon mountain area.

Dody said several national roads in Aceh were still cut off, especially on the Meureudu-Bireuen, Bireuen-Bener Meriah, and Gayo Lues-Southeast Aceh corridors.
However, all affected locations have been handled by deploying heavy equipment, stockpiling bridge oprite, cleaning up landslide material, and installing the Bailey bridge in stages.
He said that the biggest focus for handling was the Teupin Mane Bridge, which is the entrance to Central Crossing.As of last Thursday (11/12), the bailey erection process had been carried out since December 10 and it is targeted that this bridge will be functional on December 15 2025.
After the Teupin Mane emergency bridge is connected, the Ministry of Public Works will continue installing Baileys on the next broken bridges in stages, until all access to Bener Meriah and Central Aceh is open again.
In mountainous areas such as Blangkejeren-Southeast Aceh and Geumpang-Pameue-Takengon, large-scale handling continues to be carried out.
Transportation of Bailey bridge materials, oprite repairs and landslide clean-up are still ongoing intensively with a completion target of the end of December 2025.
