Nevertheless, the State Treasurer admitted that a number of his subordinates in the Ministry of Finance had been summoned by the Attorney General.Purbaya did not specify which active Ministry of Finance officials were also questioned.
“I wasn’t there (called by the Attorney General’s Office), but what is clear is that several of our people (Ministry of Finance) were summoned there (AGO) to give statements, testimony, what happened at that time. I think I’ll just let this process run its course,” he said.
“This is a case
tax amnesty,
right?Maybe there are some assessments that are not very accurate.I don’t know (details of the alleged corruption case of DJP employees).”Later, I’ll let the Attorney General explain to the media,” continued Purbaya.
On the other hand, he still joked that what happened this week was not part of his efforts to clean up the Ministry of Finance.
Purbaya emphasized that the clean-up was actually carried out by the AGO.
He only advised the officers of the Directorate General of Taxes to work more seriously.
“I don’t know (what company is involved in the alleged corruption case of DJP officers). It’s already there in the newspapers, ask me, I’ll later… On the internet it’s already there,” he said.
Apart from Ken Dwijugiasteadi, the AGO asked four other people with the initials BNDP, HBP, KL and VRH to be banned from leaving the country. This prevention applies from November 14, 2025 to May 14, 2026.
“The AGO on behalf of Ken Dwijugiasteadi has proposed a ban,” said Acting Director General of Immigration Yuldi Yusman, quoted from
Between.
“Reason: corruption,” reads the statement in the document received from the Directorate General of Immigration.
