Yudhi Sadewa prepared a budget of IDR 60 trillion in the 2026 APBN to finance disaster recovery

He explained that the Rp. 60 trillion allocation was decided at the Plenary Cabinet Session chaired directly by President Prabowo Subianto at the State Palace last Monday (15/12).
“Yesterday afternoon until late evening, I also followed direct instructions from President Prabowo Subianto at the State Palace,” wrote Purbaya on his Instagram account @menkeuri which was uploaded Wednesday (17/12).

Purbaya explained that the Rp. 60 trillion in funds came from the results of ministry/institution (KL) budget efficiency.The savings money was also diverted to fund the recovery of the three affected areas.
“We are ready to divert the budget resulting from ministry/agency spending efficiency of IDR 60 trillion for recovery from the impact of the Aceh-Sumatra disaster,” he added.
“The money is available, so as soon as it is needed as mentioned by the President, we are ready,” he concluded.

Purbaya once said that IDR 51 trillion was needed for disaster recovery in Aceh, North Sumatra and West Sumatra.
However, he said there was around IDR 60 trillion in the 2026 APBN that could be used for disaster recovery, even though the need was only IDR 51 trillion.
The budget, said Purbaya, is the result of KL’s budget efficiency for 2026. The savings value is claimed to reach tens of trillions.
“We’ve combed through everything. Before the disaster, we had collected Rp. 60 trillion from there. So we’re getting ready to execute it or not. So when the Rp. 60 trillion mentioned by the President is needed, we’re ready,” said Purbaya at the Presidential Palace Complex, Central Jakarta, Monday (15/12).
