The announcement was made via the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) Information Disclosure, Wednesday (5/11).
BTN President Director Nixon L.P.Napitupulu said the company received Quraish Shihab’s resignation letter on November 4.This resignation is related to
spin-off
or the separation of BTN’s sharia business unit.

“Mr. Muhammad Quraish Shihab (Chairman of the Company’s Sharia Supervisory Board) submitted a request to resign as the Company’s Sharia Supervisory Board effective on the Effective Date of Separation of the Company’s Sharia Business Unit as stated in a letter dated November 3 2025 which the Company received on November 4 2025,” said Nixon in the Information Disclosure.
Furthermore, Nixon said that Quraish Shihab’s resignation would be determined at the nearest General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS).This determination is effective on the effective date of the separation of the BTN sharia business unit.
Quraish Shihab’s resignation is said to have not affected BTN’s condition.
“The impact of the incident, information or material facts on operational activities, law, financial condition or business continuity of the issuer or public company,” he said.
