Former President Director of PT ASDP Ira Puspadewi denied that he had harmed the state in the alleged case
corruption
business cooperation (KSU) process and acquisition by
PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero)
2019-2022.
Ira made this denial in a plea or defense hearing after he was sentenced to 8.5 years by the Corruption Eradication Commission prosecutor.Ira said that the state losses in the KPK indictment were only fictitious figures.

“I didn’t corrupt a penny. The country’s losses are just fictitious figures. What I’m fighting for is the progress of ASDP and this country,” said Ira in his plea at the Central Jakarta Corruption Court, Thursday (6/11).
According to him, his detention by the Corruption Eradication Commission was not due to corruption, but rather state profits which were framed as crimes.
Ira admitted that he was detained on February 13 2025 after being accused of buying an old head that was considered too expensive.

In fact, based on self-defense, he only bought 100 percent of the ferry company shares for 60 percent of its assets and was still profitable.
“The state loss value of IDR 1.253 trillion was made by the prosecutor after the detention. Not by the BPK or BPKP, but by the KPK’s internal auditors who were assisted by lecturers,” he said.
Even though at that time, continued Ira, the BPK had stated that the purchase was in accordance with the regulations.Ira admits that she has lived in simplicity all this time.
He only drives a 2012 Mazda, flies economy planes, and rarely takes holidays.Ira said his children were researchers who returned to their country.
“This family integrity is not an act,” he said.
Ira was previously charged with 8 years and 6 months in prison and a fine of IDR 500 million, subsidiary to 4 months in prison in a suspected corruption case that caused state financial losses of IDR 1.25 trillion.
According to the prosecutor, Ira et al have been proven to have committed criminal acts of corruption as stipulated in Article 2 paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 18 of the Corruption Eradication Law (UU Tipikor) in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1 of the Criminal Code as in the first indictment.
“Demanding that the panel of judges at the Corruption Crime Court at the Central Jakarta District Court decide: Sentencing the defendant to prison for 8 years and 6 months, reduced in full by the length of time the defendant was detained with an order that the defendant remain detained in a detention center,” said KPK Prosecutor Wawan Yunarwanto when reading out the indictment at the Jakarta Corruption Court, Thursday (30/10).
