This award event was held as an appreciation for development people in supporting the progress of Indonesia’s infrastructure.The stakeholders who were awarded this award include ministries/institutions, local governments, communities, academics, service providers and journalists.
Secretary General of the Ministry of Public Works, Wida Nurfaida, said that the Sutami Award was held as a form of strengthening cross-sector coordination and Hexahelix collaboration, which is an important foundation in infrastructure development.

“This award is also a manifestation of strengthening our strong coordination between cross-sectors and the Hexahelix collaboration which has been an important foundation in sustainable and equitable infrastructure development,” explained Wida at the Ministry of Public Works Auditorium in the Raden Patah area, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Monday (1/12).
On the same occasion, the Minister of the Ministry of Public Works, Dody Hanggodo, mentioned the name of the Minister of Public Works for the 1964-1978 period, Ir.Sutami is worn not only as a tribute to his heroic history, but as a reminder that integrity and perseverance are the greatest foundations for the Ministry of Public Works.
“He has proven that world-class infrastructure development can be delivered with limited funds, as long as it is managed with honesty, intelligence and a high spirit of dedication from his officials to the nation and all Indonesian people,” said Dody.
Dody also said that the 2025 Sutami Awards could be an innovation for stakeholders in realizing Asta Cita launched by President Prabowo Subianto.
“Hopefully the appreciation given by the Sutami Award can be a trigger and spur to continue to innovate, and strive to be better and superior, as well as to strengthen our synergy in realizing Mr President Prabowo Subianto’s Asta Cita,” he added.
