Coach Indra Sjafri revealed the reason why Arkhan Fikri and Rayhan Hannan were absent

Arkhan and Rayhan were not included in the squad for that match.Indra Sjafri emphasized that the two of them were not yet in ideal condition to compete.
“Arkhan Fikri still needs about a week of recovery. The latest ultrasound shows the progress of the hamstring injury he suffered at the club,” said Indra in a press conference after the match.

“For Hannan, we don’t want to take any risks. Even though the ultrasound results show that he is good, the coaching team wants to make sure he is really one hundred percent ready,” he continued.
In the match against Mali, Arkhan Fikri’s position as the midfield pivot was replaced by Ananda Raehan.The PSM Makassar player worked together with Ivar Jenner and Rafael Struick, whose roles were changed to attacking midfielders.
Meanwhile, Rayhan Hannan’s place on the right wing was replaced by Rahmat Arjuna.The Bali United winger was the mainstay for pressing from the wing sector with Dony Tri Pamungkas who played as a left winger.
The U-23 national team ended the first test match against Mali with a score of 0-3.Mali’s three goals were scored by Sekou Doucoure in the fifth minute, Wilson Samake (34′) and Moulaye Haidara (90+1′).
The Garuda Muda team will again face Mali in a trial match.The match will take place again at Pakansari Stadium, Tuesday (18/11).
