“That’s right after the sermon. I’ll convey the full details later,” said Asep to journalists at the Jakarta Islamic Hospital, Cempaka Putih, Friday (7/11).

The origin of the explosion at SMA 72 Kelapa Gading is thought to have come from a mosque located within the school area.Initial suspicions were that the explosion came from
sound system
which is used for Friday prayers.However, the police have not confirmed this.
Temporary data obtained by Asep shows that 54 victims were injured as a result of the SMA 72 explosion. The majority suffered burns.
The victims had minor to serious injuries.Some of the victims have already returned to their homes.
Asep said Polda Metro Jaya opened two posts at Yarsi Hospital and Cempaka Putih Islamic Hospital to help victims and their families.
Apart from the injured victims, Asep admitted that he had not received any reports of deaths.
“Not yet, hopefully not. Nothing yet, what is clear is that the hospital is still handling it,” he said.
