, which is planned to be released next week.

Josko said that the regulations had been drafted and were being processed into the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia or State Gazette.
“The Minister of Trade Regulation (regarding the distribution of Oilita) is already in the promulgation process. So it is in the promulgation process,” he said.
Josko said that with these new regulations, the capacity and function of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) in the food sector will be stronger in distributing Minyakita.
“The hope is that the new Minister of Trade Regulation can also strengthen the position of state-owned food companies to help supply them primarily to traditional markets,” he concluded.
Previously, the Minister of Trade (Mendag) Budi Santoso confirmed that starting from 2026 distribution of the Minyakita brand cooking oil would be mandatory through State-Owned Food Enterprises, including Perum Bulog and ID Food, at a minimum of 35 percent.
This scheme aims to facilitate supply control while keeping prices in line with the highest retail price (HET) set by the government.
This will be done by revising Minister of Trade Regulation (Permendag) Number 18 of 2024 concerning Packaged Palm Cooking Oil and Governance of People’s Cooking Oil.
