“The administrative sanctions that have been removed are fines that arise due to late payment of the tax owed. So just pay the principal tax,” said Lusiana in a written statement, quoted Monday (10/11).

This means that sanctions for late payment of taxes or fines, as well as the imposition of BBNKB, have been automatically removed by the system during the period.
Lusiana continued that tax arrears who want to take advantage of the program are encouraged to use the online payment system to be more flexible without needing to go to Samsat.
He said tax payments can now be made via the Signal application.This system means that people don’t have to bother coming to the Samsat office, but can still pay off their obligations.
“We want the community to feel helped. The regional taxes paid will go back to the development and welfare of Jakarta residents,” said Lusiana.
How to check and pay taxes via cellphone via the Signal application
The Signal application is an official application from Korlantas Polri in collaboration with the Ministry of Home Affairs, Jasa Raharja, Bapenda, and Himbara bank which makes it easy for users to take care of annual STNK and pay motor vehicle tax (PKB + SWDKLLJ) online.
Here are the steps you can follow to check your car or vehicle tax in the Signal application:
1. Open the Signal application that has been downloaded on the App Store or Google Play Store
2. Select ‘Register here’
3. Enter your NIK KTP data, name, email address and telephone number
4. Create a password and re-enter the password
5. Check ‘I have agreed to SIGNAL’s terms and privacy policy’
6. Select ‘Continue’
7. Select ‘Verify now’
8. Pay attention to the e-KTP photo conditions, then select ‘Continue’
9. Photo of your KTP
10. Select ‘Use this photo’
11. Pay attention to the liveliness self-photo requirements, then select ‘Continue’
12. Take a photo of yourself
13. Select ‘Use this photo’
14. Select ‘Continue’
15. Enter the OTP code as received
16. Registration is successful, then select ‘Back to home’.
How to register a vehicle
If you already have an account, here’s how to register a vehicle on Signal:
1. Open the Signal application on your cellphone
2. Select ‘Add motor vehicle’
3. Enter personal data, such as family card number, vehicle owner status, KTP NIK, KTP photo, and vehicle data such as Motor Vehicle Registration Number and the last five digits of the chassis number
4. Check ‘I guarantee the correctness of the data provided’, then select ‘Continue’
5. Registration is successful, then select ‘View list’
How to pay vehicle tax
To continue paying vehicle tax in the Signal application, here’s how:
1. Open the Signal application on your cellphone
2. Select ‘Continue payment process’ after registering the vehicle
3. Enter the payment code
4. Select a bank according to the account you have, then select ‘Continue’
5. Pay attention to the payment method information, then select ‘Continue’
6. Make payment in the bank application, then select ‘Done’
If the payment process has been carried out, the vehicle owner can check the transaction status in the Signal application.If payment has been received, do ‘Confirm e-TBPKP Receipt’.
