Rife mbg poisoning, all SPPG is required to have SLHS

) must have a Sanitation Hygiene Eligate Certificate (SHLS).
Based on data from the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), there are currently 9,533 SPPG spread across a number of regions of Indonesia.Not yet known how much SPPG already has the SHLS.

“Indeed, the certificate worth the sanitation hygiene is a condition, but after post-the events, special attention can be made. Must or compulsory every SPPG must have SLHS,” Zulhas said at a press conference at the Ministry of Health, Jakarta, Sunday (28/9).
Zulhas said the safety of children who consumed MBG was the government’s top priority.Therefore, his party now requires all SPPG to have SLHS.
“It will be checked if there is no more incident, the safety of our children is a top priority, SLHS is mandatory for all SPPG,” he said.
Furthermore, the Chairperson of the PAN asked the Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin ordered the Puskesmas in all regions to actively monitor SPPG routinely.
“All steps are taken openly so that people believe the food served is safe, nutritious for all Indonesian people,” he said.
Previously the case of poisoning in the Free Nutritious Eating Program (MBG) was in the public spotlight in recent times.
The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) noted that as of September 22, there were 4,711 people who were victims of poisoning.This number is spread in seven regions in Indonesia that have been classified by the body.
The poisoning case covered region I of Sumatra as many as 1,281 people, region II of Java as many as 2,606 people, and region III included Kalimantan, Bali, Sulawesi, East Nusa Tenggara, Maluku, to Papua as many as 824 people.
Meanwhile, different data was discovered by the Indonesian Education Monitoring Network (JPPI).As of September 21, 2025, JPPI recorded MBG poisoning in Indonesia reached 6,452 people.
On the other hand, the West Java Health Laboratory (Labkes) revealed Salmonella and Bacillus cereus bacteria were the main causes of food poisoning in thousands of students in West Bandung Regency.
Head of the Regional Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD) of the West Java Health Office Dr. Ryan Bayusantika Ristandi said that bacteria were found from the Food Food Sample of the Free Nutrition (MBG) Food Program examined by the laboratory team.
“Our examination results show the presence of spoiled bacteria namely Salmonella and Bacillus cereus which originated from the carbohydrate component in food,” Ryan said in Bandung, Sunday (9/28)
