A total of five students
UIN Walisongo Semarang
found dead after being swept away by the current of the Singorojo River, Kendal, Central Java.
The latest deceased victim was found to be male, identified as Muhammad Jibril Assyarifa from Gresik.The victim was found by the joint SAR TEAM not far from the incident location at around 09.30 WIB.

Head of BPBD Kendal, Ali Sutaryo, confirmed the discovery of Jibril’s body.Currently the victim is in the process of being evacuated due to the difficulty of the terrain.
“This morning the joint SAR team again found a body after Bima’s body was found. One body was identified as Muhammad Jibril Assyarifa from Gresik. The discovery was at around 09.30 WIB on the banks of the Singorojo river near Karet Bulu Hamlet,” said Sutaryo, quoted from

“The location of the discovery is not far from the incident location and is currently still being evacuated to be taken to the command post. It will take a long time to evacuate because of the difficulty and distance of the terrain,” he continued.
Ali explained that the victim’s body would be immediately taken to the Suwondo Kendal Regional Hospital because the family was already waiting at the Kendal BPBD office.Next, the family will take the body home for burial in their hometown.
“After being evacuated, Muhammad Jibril’s body will be taken directly to the Suwondo Regional Hospital, the victim’s family will already be waiting at the Kendal BPBD office. Later the family will take the body back to his hometown for burial,” he explained.
The joint SAR team continues to search for another victim in the name of Nabila Yulian Desi.
“The joint SAR team is still continuing to search and search for one more victim in the name of Nabila Yulian Desi. We will continue to look for the final victim,” he explained.
The search for another victim was carried out in two ways, namely manual searches and searches using rubber boats
“So to search for the last victim, we are still using two methods, manual searches and searches using rubber boats,” he said.
A total of 6 students from UIN Walisongo Semarang were swept away by the flood while tubing on the Singorojo River, Singorojo District, Kendal, Tuesday (4/11).A total of three bodies were found on the same day in the names of Riska Amelia, Sifa Nadilah, and M Labib Rizki.
