Currently, the only land route that can be traversed to the east coast of Aceh Province is from Banda Aceh City to Bireuen Regency.Meanwhile, other areas cannot yet be connected.
There are no alternative routes to and from areas cut off by land transportation.Therefore, the distribution of aid to flood victims is temporarily using air routes.
“Several other flood areas, such as North Aceh Regency, Aceh Tamiang Regency, Bener Meriah Regency, cannot yet be contacted,” explained Dede.
Dede detailed that in the Bireuen Police area, there were two points on the national road where the bridge was impassable, broken in Tingkeum Village, Kuta Blang District.This bridge connects Bireuen Regency with North Aceh Regency.
Meanwhile, the Bireuen national road to Bener Meriah Regency is impassable because the bridge broke in Teupin Manee, Juli District, Bireuen Regency.
In the Lhokseumawe Police area, there are three points where the road cannot be passed, namely in Bungkah Village, Muara Batu District, North Aceh Regency, it cannot be crossed because the flood level has reached 80 centimeters.
At the flood point in Tambon Baroh, Dewantara District, North Aceh Regency, the flood height reached 1.5 meters.On roads in Cot Mee Village, Nisam District, North Aceh Regency, the flood level reached one meter.
In the East Aceh Police area, there are three national road points that can only be crossed by six-wheeled vehicles, namely at Simpang Ulim, Perlak Kota and Perlak Barat.Floodwaters inundated roads in the area reaching 120 cm.
“Meanwhile, for the Aceh Singkil Police area there are three points where the national road cannot be crossed, namely two broken bridges in Gosong Telaga, and a third flood of 60 centimeters in Muara Pea, North Singkil District, Aceh Singkil Regency,” he said.
Furthermore, in the Central Aceh Police area, the national road connecting Takengon with Bener Meriah cannot be crossed due to landslides.
Furthermore, landslides also caused the national road connecting Kutacane to Blangkejeren in Gayo Lues Regency to be impassable.
