U-23 Indonesian National Team

The visiting team Mali immediately put pressure on Indonesia after kickoff.Aboubacar Sidibe’s attempted right-footed shot from the right side was sideways on the right side in the second minute.
Indonesia responded with a left-footed shot from Dony Tri Pamungkas in the third minute, but it was caught by goalkeeper Bourama Kone.

Mali continues to put pressure on Indonesia.Mali’s pressure paid off in the fifth minute through Sekou Doucoure’s header.
Doucoure broke into Cahya’s goal after taking advantage of a corner kick.Mali U-23 took a 1-0 lead over Indonesia in the fifth minute.
Mali gave Garuda Muda tight pressure.
Indonesia had a chance to equalize in the eighth minute after there was a miscommunication between the back line and goalkeeper Bourama.
The mistake took Bourama out of the penalty box.However, Indonesia failed to take advantage of this momentum.
Having difficulty penetrating Mali’s defense with short passes, the U-23 National Team played variations with long passes.However, the pass from behind to Rahmat Arjuna in the 14th minute was closer to the Mali goalkeeper.
And Sinate made a one-two pass on the left side and penetrated the Indonesian defense.However, Sinate’s left foot shot in the 15th minute was not on target.
The U-23 national team almost equalized in the 19th minute if Ananda Raehan’s header which maximized Dony Tri’s pass was not caught by Bourama.

Dony Tri got a golden opportunity in the 45th minute.After outwitting the Mali defender, Dony chose to fire a right-footed shot which Bourama then parried.
In a corner kick scheme in the minute of injury time, Ivar Jenner got a chance after chaos broke out in Mali’s penalty box.However, Jenner’s shot at goal left by goalkeeper Bourama was cleared by Mali’s players.
Without additional goals in the remainder of the match, the Indonesian U-23 National Team trailed 0-2 to Mali in the first half.
