The majority of dominant Asian currencies weakened.The Hong Kong dollar weakened 0.01 percent, the Japanese yen fell 027 percent, the Chinese yuan minus 0.06 percent, the Singapore dollar minus 0.02 percent, the South Korean won fell 0.5 percent, and the Philippine peso fell 0.08 percent.

Meanwhile, the Thai baht rose 0.13 percent and the Malaysian ringgit strengthened 0.16 percent.
On the other hand, developed country currencies closed mixed.The British pound sterling rose 0.12 percent, the European euro minus 0.13 percent, the Swiss franc fell 0.19 percent, the Canadian dollar fell 0.02 percent, and the Australian dollar strengthened 0.06 percent.
Doo Financial Futures analyst Lukman Leong said the rupiah strengthened against the US dollar supported by an increase in Indonesia’s foreign exchange reserves in October 2025.
