“We didn’t expect to get two gold medals here because we also know that the Malaysian pair and Leo/Bagas are very good. They are among the top pairs, we just try not to lose on the field,” said Reza in an official PBSI release.

This happiness felt extraordinary for Sabar because he managed to win SEA Games gold at an age that could no longer be called young for an athlete.
“I saw my juniors at a young age, they were already playing the SEA Games, they got gold medals while I was 29, but that was God’s plan.We never know when that blessing will come, it could be in our teens or at my current age.”It feels amazing,” he continued.
