.The Jurassic World Rebirth star is said to be starring opposite the Caped Crusader character played by Robert Pattinson.

on Wednesday (3/12), it was reported that Matt Reeves CS would start filming the second film The Batman in the first half of 2026. The Batman Part II is targeted to be released in October 2027 in cinemas.

The Batman premiered in theaters in March 2022 and grossed US$772 million at the global box office.Reeves and co-writer Mattson Tomlin completed the script for the long-awaited sequel in June 2024.
“It’s been a long journey, but I’m very excited. I’m very proud of the script that Mattson and I created,” Reeves told Variety at the Emmy Awards last September.
“We put [the script] in a secret bag that was completely locked with a code. [Robert Pattinson] was in New York at the time, and everything was kept under high security.”

He is still keeping a tight lid on the possibility of the story being developed in the second film.
Some time ago, he only explained that The Batman Part II still featured Bruce Wayne as a detective, in line with the first film which featured Batman being pressed for time to unravel the riddle of The Riddler (Paul Dano).
Details of a potential role for Scarlett Johansson have not been revealed, but the move is the latest major franchise deal for the artist after starring in Jurassic World Rebirth and will appear in the reboot of “The Exorcist.
If the deal goes through, Johansson’s presence in the film would also be prominent as the Avengers and Marvel Cinematic Universe star moves to the DC Universe.
Based on sources familiar with the production process, Johansson’s presence coincides with the situation where Catwoman, previously played by Zoe Kravitz, is not expected to return in the second film.
