U-23 Indonesian National Team
canceled to face Singapore in
SEA Games 2025
after the opponent moved to group A. The following is the new schedule for the Indonesian U-23 National Team at the 2025 SEA Games after that moment.
The Indonesian U-23 national team was originally scheduled to face Singapore in the opening match of the 2025 SEA Games. However, Cambodia’s withdrawal meant that Singapore moved to group A.
Singapore’s move to group A is not without reason.Singapore entered pot 4 and Singapore’s move means that the three existing groups now contain an equal share of three countries.

Initially, after Cambodia withdrew, group A only left Thailand and Timor Leste.Obviously that’s not ideal for a group phase system format.
Now, after Indonesia canceled its match against Singapore, the schedule for the U-23 Indonesian National Team has automatically changed. However, the schedule change is not significant.Only the match against Singapore [originally scheduled for December 5] was removed from the previous schedule among other countries.
Thus, now group C only contains Indonesia, Myanmar and the Philippines.Indonesia will fight with these two countries to win tickets to the semifinals.
In the first match, Indonesia will face the Philippines on December 8.After that, Indonesia will duel against Myanmar on December 12.
With the cancellation of the duel against Singapore, Indonesia has more time to prepare for the match against the Philippines.Apart from that, the Indonesian U-23 national team will benefit in terms of fitness because the Philippines will play against Myanmar first on December 5.
