Selangor FC
reportedly threatened with punishment from the Asian Football Confederation (
AFC
) following the fan commotion against Persib Bandung in the AFC Champions League Two (ACL 2) match, Thursday (6/11).
In the fourth matchday of Group H at the Petaling Jaya Stadium, hosts Selangor lost dramatically 2-3 to Persib.
Selangor took a 2-0 lead in the first half through Chrigor’s goal and Patricio Matricardi’s own goal.

However, in the second half Maung Bandung rose.Persib scored two goals in return through kicks from Andrew Jung and Adam Alis.
Persib achieved a dramatic 3-2 victory after goalkeeper Sikh Izhan made a mistake because he threw the ball incorrectly which then hit Adam and then went into his own net.
The match was marred by a number of incidents by home fans.As the second half progressed, there was a commotion in the Persib supporters’ stands.It is claimed that the trigger was due to unscrupulous Selangor supporters who came to the opposing fans’ stands.

, some Selangor fans entered the pitch after the match ended, but were stopped by security officials before they could approach the Selangor players.
Home supporters were also reported to have even entered the VIP room, damaging several public facilities in the area.
According to AFC Secretary General, Datuk Seri Windsor Paul John, his party will take appropriate action.Paul John said the AFC took security issues at matches seriously.
“After receiving the complete report, the report will be forwarded to the AFC Disciplinary Committee,” said Paul John.
If AFC is sanctioned, Selangor FC’s misfortune will continue.Previously, Selangor was eliminated from ACL 2 first after losing to Persib.
